| IG's Jordan McGifford carries flag at EYOF Opening Ceremony |

Irish Gymnastics Jordan McGifford carried the flag for Ireland at the Opening Ceremony of the 2009 European Youth Olympic Festival in Tampere, Finland. Jordan was a last minute replacement for fellow gymnast & team mate Niamh Clohessy who unfortunately injured her ankle and was advised by physios to rest in the hope of being able to compete. Joining Jordan and Niamh from Irish Gymnastics as part of the EYOF Team Ireland is Chris O'Connor in the men's event. We look forward to reporting on results shortly...
