| European Championships 2008 - Womens' Artistic |

The Womens European Championships were held in Clermont Ferrand from the 1st to the 4th of April 2008. Ireland had a Senior Team and a Junior Individual entered. The Senior Team was captained by Sarah Wedel (who had previously competed in the Europeans in Greece) and she was joined by Zoe Johnston, Aimee O'Driscoll and Emma Gorman (all previous competitors at the European Youth Olympics). The Junior individual Rebecca Wallace had also recently competed at the European Youth Olympics.
The Senior Team competed on the 1st of April, the standard in this competition was exceptionally high with Romania taking the Gold, Russia Silver and France bronze. The highlight for the seniors was Aimee O’Driscoll who ranked 18th on Vault.
In the Junior Competition on the 2nd of April Rebecca Wallace ranked 58th out of 124 gymnasts. Becky had a great competition with a clean bars and floor routine, she was unlucky to have one fall on beam and on vault.
