| NEW IG MAGAZINE: Deadline for articles 6/10/06 |

The new quarterly IG Magazine will launch with its first issue at the end of October/start of November 2006! Irish Gymnastics is now inviting clubs and members to submit articles for FOUR exciting sections of the magazine! (1) Club Focus: In each edition of the magazine we will feature a club from the association in this section - highlighting their history, achievements and anything else interesting! (2) Coach Spotlight: In this section we will feature a coach from the association that is considered an inspiration or a leader in their discipline - not necessarily a coach involved in competitive gymnastics - perhaps a coach who has added great value to their community? (3) Other News: members are invited to submit small news items no more than 150 words - no picture can be submitted for this section. (4) Club Classifieds: Do you have a small advert you want to place for the attention of IG members - maybe have some equipment to sell? This page is dedicated to small adverts. NOTE: The first issue of the magazine will be consist of 16 pages - the structure has been agreed therefore it is important that you get your articles in before the deadline or else space will be allocated to other features. Although the magazine will initially consist of 16 pages - this can develop over the coming year to incorporate more info so make sure you are sending in the articles! Clubs/Coaches for the Club Focus & Coach Spotlight sections will be selected from submissions at an editorial meeting shortly after the deadline.
