Kieran Behan qualifies in first place at World Cup on Floor
22-year-old Kieran Behan is “over the moon” with his qualification result at the Challenge World Cup in Croatia.
The Tolworth gymnast scored 15.1 on Floor, a personal best, and qualified in first position for today’s finals.
Kieran said: “It went exactly as planned and I’m very pleased.”
With a start value of 15.9, his routine did go as planned.
In October Kieran won Ireland's first ever FIG medal at the World Cup – bronze on floor.
Kieran, sponsored by Stoi Athletics Wear, will compete today at 2.50pm and updates will be posted on the Gymnastics Ireland Facebook and Twitter pages.
