Tumbling
Tumbling is a very old sport and was an Olympic discipline in 1932.
The sport as we know it today takes place on a track where the power comes from glass fibre rods, which allow the competitor to do very fast and explosive routines with double somersaults with or without twists.
A competition consists of a qualification round with two routines of 8 skills and a final also with two routines of 8 skills. A routine consists of skills from feet to feet, or feet - hands - feet; has to show power, speed and rhythm, must be executed with good style and has to land under control in the landing zone.
